So maybe somebody out there has already had (and overcome) this one:
We recently installed a hi-felutin PABX at work. The newfangled fones do
everything but serve coffee (pressing  calls a lady to do that). But...
I can't get the modem to work in series with this phone. It won't even
work when the phone is completely disconnected.
The PABX supplier understands from modems, nothing! They can fix me a fax
line instead (no coffee button).
Please help!
