it is apparently a bug and rob is looking into it ;)

now, if we can get the vbbs author to fix his stuff so that fidonet echos
carry the proper origin lines without the sysops having to perform any
special majik to get it right, then things will be a lot nicer and easier
on those vbbs sysops who do participate in fidonet...

why do i say the above? well, i've assisted more than one vbbs sysop, over
the years, in getting their FTN origin lines fixed... this is something
that should have been automated years ago... at least 10 years back... but,
who am i to tell another author how he is to write his software? i'm only a
knowledgable FTN coder and member of the FTSC so i guess i don't know
anything O:)
