Seems the bride wants to vacation in California.  Having spent 18 months at
Camp Pendleton I've seen quite enough of the southern part of the state. 
Convinced her we should do the North.  Plan to fly into SF about May 7 and
drive to Monterey.  A couple of days there, pop down to San Simeon, and
then to SF for the rest of the week.  Figure see the Acquarium, Alcatraz,
Exploratorium, Hearst Castle.  I was last  there about 20 years ago so I'm
a bit out of date as a tour guide.  Would appreciate any suggestions  about
what else to see, resturants, B&Bs, etc.
