Hi All

During my various scrounging exercises, I have acquired several
"projector" (???) objectives. Some came from old (and very cheap)
slide projectors and some from micro-fiche readers. Some of these are in
cased in solid well made aluminium barrels and some are housed in partially
melted plastic barrels.

I dismantled one of the plastic ones and found something *resembling* a
Cooke triplet. It consisted of a 20mm diameter plano-convex, a 5mm air gap,
a 15mm bi-concave lens, a 5mm air gap and an 18mm plano-convex. The convex
surfaces face outwards.

Does anybody out there know what design these are likely to be??

Can anybody suggest any astronomical use for these??

Many thanks in advance

Frank Q
