From: "Frank Q" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Frank Q" Hi All During my various scrounging exercises, I have acquired several "projector" (???) objectives. Some came from old (and very cheap) slide projectors and some from micro-fiche readers. Some of these are in cased in solid well made aluminium barrels and some are housed in partially melted plastic barrels. I dismantled one of the plastic ones and found something *resembling* a Cooke triplet. It consisted of a 20mm diameter plano-convex, a 5mm air gap, a 15mm bi-concave lens, a 5mm air gap and an 18mm plano-convex. The convex surfaces face outwards. Does anybody out there know what design these are likely to be?? Can anybody suggest any astronomical use for these?? Many thanks in advance Frank Q --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/1.100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
