Oh, there were several. This event was complicated in that even on that
deadline, there was an interesting assortment of volunteers and paid
staff/contractors being coordinated. There was some interesting delegation
of duties, and a reasonable degree of coordination considering that while key
people were mostly experienced, they had never worked together collectively
before. All things considered, the real problems were few and were handled
quickly, though no problems would obviously have been better.
That idea of a free hour for testing before doors open sounds nice by
comparison.
