 I think what they actually witnessed was the modem transferring at over

 4000cps. I have actually seen mine do the same, and has hit 4004 as

 it's max. The overall throughput tho' is never near the 4000cps rate by

 the time that the average transfer is recorded as my logs with you

 would also show. We tend to get pretty bloody good connects from what I

 see and these I consider to be very healthy. Mind you, when it rains

 round here, the connects seem to go off a touch.

He doesn't, as you know, but you also know I do. If you have the "wank"

feature disabled in this program, the actual rates that this shows me

are less than some others of note. Wincomm 7.0 for Win95 actually

records a faster throughput than Term.4 as does Telix.
