Did anyone notice that the current choppers that the president flys from the White House are from the 1960's? Even the Coast Guard phased them out years ago (replaced them with HH65 Dolphins - a French design, btw). Has Sikorsky even built a 'Fathawk' er 'Superhawk' yet? That's another advantage the EH101/US101 has - it's flying, and has been for a few years now. As for outsourcing, I see that this was missed in the copy 'n paste: " But New York lawmakers hailed the decision, which will bring a new manufacturing plant to Owego, N.Y., and as many as 750 new jobs. And Sen. Charles Schumer (news, bio, voting record), D-N.Y. said it was a testament to Lockheed's business leadership." --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
