Explain to me how attempts to aggressively spread democracy will reduce
terrorist activities. Remember, the people who prosecuted the 9/11 attacks
hate you. As long as they hate you, you're a target. You're doing nothing
to reduce that hatred. You can't deter a suicide bomber by force.

You can take your words above, reverse the words democracy and communism,
and it still makes perfect sense and fits the evidence. Your position is
understandable, but there are one heck of a lot of people in this world who
hold the opposite opinion. You don't have to agree with them, but you'd
better realise that they exist and their opinion is as valid as yours.
