Look in your yellow pages for Plastics Distributors and start calling.  In
my area nearly every one of them has a cash-only "will call" desk
where you can walk up and buy the stuff at wholesale prices, often by the
pound.  They are happy to sell even small amounts.  Retail places mark the
stuff up hideously (teflon was 8x more expensive) and have a smaller
selection.
