Well Richard, The 1080 is new to me. purchased in a "fire sale" just the 
box ma'm nothing but the box! So maby you can help me. I have the 2 port 
interface and have not yet found how to change from the GM patch set to the 
!, B & C sets. I tried control 0, and 32 followed by 1,2, etc. And yes the 
lowly Sound Canvas is in deed a fine unit.
The 1080 has one weard problem the batterly is alwalys (low)  even with a 
new one??????  Have you come across the bigband efforts of GaryW000?
