Frank, I have used an old slide projector lens for a spotting scope, or
viewfinder. Just use a cheap
eyepiece and find the focal length. A few pieces of PVC pipe and reducers,
a little flat black spray
paint and you are there. Now if you are talking about those short focal
lenght projection TV lenses
