I hope someone keeps this place around in some form as Geo has done with
the Canopus archive and the Barkto archives, it'll be very interesting to
look back and see.

Some of the dictators are aligned / friendly with the US even though they
are also in a position to "influence entire regions". I don't see
you being in a big hurry to go after them. (Look at the SE Asia region for
example.)
