Greetings,
I've just released a shareware product for Paradox 5.0, the Print Table
Structure Guide. The Guide is an "expert" that automates the process of
printing table structures. It follows the Paradox 5.0 Expert-metaphor and
reduces the process to three steps:
1) First, you choose the table(s) you want to print the structure(s) of.
2) Next, you choose the validity checks you want to include in the report.
3) Finally, you choose the options used to create the report.
The Guide analyzes your table structures, converts the information reported
by IDAPI (through ObjectPAL) into something a little more meaningful to the
end-user, and then creates a report listing the tables you've chosen.
The shareware version of the Guide can be obtained from Library 13 of
Borland's PDOXWIN forum and from the Paradox Informant BBS. Look for
PTSGUIDE.ZIP.
Registration is $24.95 + $5 s/h and gets you an enhanced version of the Guide
that streamlines the UI, remembers the settings you choose, provides
customization of the report that's created, and full source code.
Check it out; I think you'll find it useful enough to register...
