| subject: | Optus/Telstra line? |
Hi Derek! In Derek Woodlands's message to Lawrence Gould on , Derek Woodlands said: >> DW> have a solution that does not involve disconnecting the >> DW> phones (if indeed this is the problem)? I'd like to put a >> DW> second line in which would solve the hassles but Optus aren't >> DW> starting that service (Optical Fibre all the way!!!) until >> DW> June (bugger Telstra! ) Are Optus going to put lines into buildings? I had enquired by Telstra about another line and they told me yesterday that for my building there is no line vacant and that they would have to come over and put in physically another cable. Therefore they could not tell me over the phone how much this would cost and they would give me a quote before they start work. I would have to pay $173 plus for the work to install a new cable at $15 per 15 minutes time increments plus materials. They will give me the qoute for the total costs involved in two weeks. If Optus would start putting lines into buildings, they might be more economical?
