Hi Tom

Anything I can see from the eyepiece is black on the spider/hub. I spent
some time with black acrylic paint getting it that way. I probably will go
ahead and paint the rest of it as well just to make it prettier. ;-)

The secondary holder I'm leaving shiny to reduce its emissivity. I plan to
also put a reflective heatshield on the back of the mirror with some low
wattage heaters there as well eventually.

I need to take some more pictures this afternoon of the back of the mirror.
I didn't realize I missed that until this morning when I was looking at the
site again. I'll post them this evening.

Basically I cut a piece of coroplast to fit the perimeter of the cell then
cut out an 18" hole out of it so the back of the mirror would be
exposed. I then cut the whole thing in half so it could easily be
inserted/removed under the mirror. It is a snug fit so no attachment
required.
