Many stories about the US making accusations wrt IED & esp shaped
charge IED & the numbers of US service people killed etc.


But the numbers really don't add up.

They don't add up because there is no proof (nor should any be expected)
wrt the arms possessed by the Sunni of Anbar etc & supply by Iran.

Shia squads & US only overlap in Baghdad & south towards the UK zone.

The UK does have a good case wrt dead PBI & Iran but the US....?

170 dead (one number put forward) is actually mostly made up of US PBI
killed by IED but where a large number were killed in Sunni areas by Sunni
insurgents who are in no way "armed by Iran".

So why come out with transparently false figures (or try gluing 2 sets of
true information together via a completely fictitious link) ?

Undoubtedly Iranian arms are reaching people in Iraq much as US arms are
& Syrian arms are & Saudi arms are. However looking at the numbers, one
would have to take the Saudi etc to task wrt things going bang in Anbar.
