subject: telix doorway mode

Hi Pete,
PG>Doorway mode is when you are on your computer, running something on the
PG>computer you have called. If I am on my computer, and a game I am playing
PG>on the BBS requires me to give it an Alt-Z, I can't send that with Telix,
PG>unless I am in doorway mode. That's the whole point of doorway mode. To
PG>permit you to send keystrokes that would normally be control keys for
PG>Telix, to whoever you have called.
OK so let me see if I got it right..When I in Telix I turn on the
Doorway mode...jump to shell Dos & go into a diff. DIR. on my HD say
like Corridor7..play the game..while I'm stiil in Telix..Or do I have to
have door games like other BBS in order to really use Doorway mode???
PG>If you have a friend who deletes things on other people's computers, I
PG>would NEVER permit him to call my computer, for any reason. Or within a
PG>hundred yards of my computer, for that matter.
Well the one friend of my who was a SysOp wouldn't delete stuff on my
HD this way or another way..He use to run Telix on he computer, but
knot in BBS mode in order to use Doorway mode...I can set it up to be a
BBS just by adding the other part of Telix v3.21. I have print out all
the msg you sent me to help me down the road..so I don't have to ask the
same old question again..
Well catchya later...and thanks..
Gordon :)
