When I married my first cousin Sarah she was 18.

We lost count of the number of US state boundaries we couldn't cross
unaccompanied in the same vehicle.

(We'd been close for around six years, and it was a very natural thing to
do.  Before doing it, we consulted an eminent consultant - Mr Withers at
the Middlesex Hospital.  It turns out that generationally equal close
relations - except brothers and sisters - face almost zero elevated risk.)

Tom and Jenni are great kids.  Both will marry this year.  No, not each other.
