They seem to be saying that if you allow it to warm 1degC over 12 hours
that you can use a lot less power for that 12 hour period. So by my
thinking if you can insulate it so that you get that same 1degC savings you
can use a lot less power 24x7.

I didn't even have to see the numbers, if these freezers are using so much
power just to maintain constant cold then more insulation should make just
as significant a difference as this 1degC time shift thing they want to do.
