Ho Gerry,
GC>>> Buy an Awe32. They're very cheap now. You can add RAM to increase
GC>>> the storage capacity for your banks of WAV files. This is the
 GC>>> equivalent of buying a œ2,000 sampler.
 GJ>> Hardly!
GC> Oh ye of little faith. I can store several banks of high quality
GC> samples and access them from either a PC sequencer or trigger them
GC> from an external sequencer. I can manipulate the samples in a huge
GC> variety of ways and add individually tailored reverb, chorus,
GC> panning etc. in my final mix. What's your problem?
This sounds pretty good. I notice you mention elsewhere that you've got a
SW60XG. I have this too, does it run problem free with the AWE? I'm looking
for something with full duplex and wasn't much concerned about the sounds but
since I noticed you say that Priceless has AWEs for 50 quid (I live in
Glasgow)
I could be very tempted. Are these full edition AWEs? I believe there was a
cut
down version that didn't have the facility to build your own sound banks.
Cheers for now,
                    Andy
