The only thing that makes something be on com 4 is the jumper settings on the 
card. Unless it is software controlled.  Just change the jumper settings to 
say that you 56k modem is COM4. There is one problem with that though. If
you have one modem on COM2 you will not be able to use them both at the same 
time.
