5-6 year old who
was given some of Piaget's "tests" for children.  Children were shown two
different containers of equal volume.  Up until a certain age (between 5-6
years old) no method of evidence, or explanation will convince them that
the volumes are equal. One always looks like it holds more to them.  An
investigator asked a child who could (correctly) say both were equal how he
knew they were equal and the child's reply was, "Once you know, you
know." >>


When I was a child I found a  hidden present way before my birthday.
My mom advised me to forget I'd seen it until later.
I asked - 'how do you forget?'
