From: "Kreig McBride" To: "Tom Stokes" Cc: Reply-To: "Kreig McBride" Tom, One thing you might consider is taking Rogers 8" achomate class at the Telescope Optics Workshop coming up in March. This is going to be a one time offered class for making a large achromats, 8" f/15 doublets. Roger is an excellent teacher and extremely knowledable about lenses. The three day class is a great opportunity to learn lens fabrication, tool making, theory, and practical hands on experience. Consider you will be in a class of 5 students and one excellent teacher. I dont know of any other classes available in the past or future dedicated to such a project. www.wwu.edu/~skywise/optics.html Kreig McBride Bellingham, WA -----Original Message----- From: Tom Stokes To: Roger Ceragioli ; atm list Date: Saturday, February 15, 2003 9:45 AM Subject: Re: ATM Refractor Design Webpage Up and Running > >Hi Roger - > >You have presented an awful lot of technical stuff and >readers might experience burnout.
