Did that, nothing showed up.

Formatting the partition didn't fix it, as below did.

If I had a Master boot record virus, the virus checkers should have found it.
Scan, F-Prot and AVP.

Yes, but they found nothing, yet something was expanding the files.
Only when I removed the partitions and reinstalled them did things become
normal.
... Back up my hard disk? I can't find the reverse switch!
