It (Natural Desktop) is still pretty cool.  I do have some questions about
it, though, as to how often it updates the weather (from weather.com);
right now, with a full-time connection, it says it last updated at 1pm, and
it is now 9:30pm.  But the sounds, and the wallpaper switches work fine;
and for 8 bucks, what the heck.  It hasn't done any harm, or noticeably
slowed my system (but I haven't been doing anything but browsing lately). 
Easy enough to kill the sounds at will, and the app, and restore them.
