This month's Aust Personal Computer has reviews on modems and it appears
that a company named Modem Connections in Sydney is the new distributor.

BTW, I'm not that much a technical person but it seems they got some of
their facts wrong with respect to the Courier. APC says that it uses
"USR chips" but IIRC the Courier has TI and Intel  stuff
inside ...

If I'm to be a lawyer I've got to get the hang of precedents. This means
I have to use old and crappy taglines whether I like them or not
