Hello, I'm trying to find any information on the following family:
        John P. BLOOM, native of Blair Co.,Pa. as was his wife, 
                Ellen Laferty. They had four children:
                        1.Ira b. 17 Feb 1863, Smith's Mills,Clearfield Co.
                                m.Sadie GRIFFITH b.4 Oct.1868 in Cambria Twp.
                              d. 2 Apr1959 in Ebensburg,Pa.
                        2. L.Z. lived in Grand Is., Neb.
                        3. Alpheus H. lived near Coshocton, Oh.
                        4. Myrtle m. Bert W. NIPPS, lived in Ebensburg, Pa.
        I am a G-G-Grandson of John P. & Elen (LAFERTY) BLOOM. About the only
thing I know of John P. is that he was kicked in the head by a mule, killing 
him instantly, leaving Ira to provide for his siblings from the age of 15. 
        I have quite a bit of info from Ira BLOOM onwards but would really
like to find anything from John P. back.
        I do know that Ira: was general manager of the Cambria Co. Fair, was
one of the organizers of the Cambria Title, Savings and Trust Company and one
of its directors until it was sold to the Ebensburg Trust Company.
        Sadie Griffith was a member of one of Cambria Co's prominent 
pioneering families.
        John p. and Ellen are where I have reached an end. I would truly
appreciate any info anyone may have and be willing to share what I have on 
this
my paternal side as well as my maternal side, which I can trace back to my 
G-G-G-G-G-G-G-Grandfather, Thomas BEALE, b. abt 1677, of Elf's Hole, Calne,
Wiltshire, England, who married Catherine COPE. ("Here Comes Tomorrow" by:
