Hi Charles,
CB-->We're using a neat little typing tutor in our middle school lab called
CB-->Typing Tutor 6 (now being sold by Que Software). Not too expensive and
CB-->it has several nice features - record keeping on student progress,
CB-->graphical representation of fingering, several different levels of
CB-->practice, and a couple of keyboard games.
Paws, a program for the apple II's, is a real good one too. It only has
the recordkeeping if you print out each student's scores each time they
use the program (so I don't use that part) But the graphic fingering,
levels of practice , and keyboard games are all great. I didn't care
much for the Mavis Beacon, or the ALL the Right Type, programs because
they were't as good. I'm going to check out Mario. I've heard from
several students and parents that it was good. I'm interested in Typing
Tutor 6, do you know what kind of machine it runs on?
Peace
Bob
