As it should.  People from any other country that want to enter the US have
to go through this process, why shouldn't they?  The only difference
between them and the others is that they (1) share a border with us, and
(2) are willing to enter illegally (or someone was willing to bring them in
illegally) to begin with.  I don't think we should be rewarding people who
entered illegally while, in affect, penalizing those who do so legally.

Let them go back and get in line with the legal immigrants.

Also, if they come in legally on a work visa, I am not so sure that they do
have to go back to their home country and wait 2 years for a green card.
None of my legal friends have had to.  One of them just became a citizen last
month.

Oh, I know, that is just too difficult...
