Hi everyone...;

I'm having trouble getting my modem to upload files; the problem seems
to be specific to my modem/computer setup.

My modem is a Maestro Executive 144FM.

Whenever I upload using Zmodem or any other protocol it constantly needs
to resend the data.  This happens with any BBS/modem I call, and using
every terminal program I could lay my hands on... Terminate, Telix,
Telemate, Communiqu‚, as well as the IceZmodem external protocol.

The weirdest thing is, downloading works perfectly, and I get an average
CPS rate of 1650-1700 bps (it's a 14400 modem).

Can anyone tell me what's going on?
