         Thanks for writing back. I was just asking because I got one on
loan from a friend to try out, and I actually thought, like you did,
that they suck a lot. I can only occasionally connect at 28.8, and while
uploading, the modem generally tends to just stop in the middle of a
transfer, and not respond to any further commands. However, it wasn't
bad for cruising the net...
