 Yes, there are some signs.  But the whole article sounds like the annual
"death of OS/2" articles that were 12 years before their time. 
As part of his cited credentials, there is:

predicted that Carly Fiorina's stewardship of HP would be an unmitigated
disaster, and would destroy the world's greatest company."

   Fiorina's HP stint was not an unmitigated disaster - it changed HP in a
way that didn't continue to foster innovation.  But who can say how HP
would have survived in its traditional form?
