| subject: | SyncTerm no long supporting ANSI |
-> Hi, everyone- -> Seems that we non-Synchronet sysops are getting the shaft when it comes to -> SyncTerm since its developer, Stephen Hurd, aka Deuce, has decided that -> Synchronet is the only game in town. No support for door games, nada. Hi Sean... Am I understanding this right. And he is probably right, If most bbs technology is not going to change, then Syncterm is basically finished. Kinda like fido technology software, it hasn't changed so what are You going to do? Seems though I read elsewhere that syncterm 1.0 will be there, but not upgraded any longer. The new software which would be something like syncclient or what have You and would then be as he said, specifically for synchronet. It sounds to me like he wants synchronet to be overhauled also. Maybe he and Rob have some major plans, I dunno.... But as far as the old fashioned BBS's if they accept telnet which they seem to, what more can he do to the software, syncterm? I could also be misunderstanding the post. Have a good One!
