Norton Commons is a very pretentious... well I will go so far as to say elitist
pipe dream of a neihgborhood. Most of the people there use Ubers not Tarc and
the few stores and businesses there are so expensive that the west end crowd
does not travel there (same with the paddock... can't remember what it was
called before those stores are very high end and expensive).

The movie theater on dixie (the Dixie Dozen) closed due to gang and crime
activity mostly brought in from the west end. Our target closed on dixie and
they had no problems fingering the west end crowd for stealign them blind
(along with dillards and other stores we have lost).

Mainly what we have left in Valley station are grocery stores (kroger no longer
open 24/7 due to robberies) dollar stores, and discount clothing stores like
Marshalls. We don't have any nice stores anymore... very few restraunts other
than fast food staples like McDonalds and Taco bell. We have lost a lot of
stuff.

Back to dixie dozen... when it closed Tarc immediately expanded the bus route
to the Cinemark they built at the Mall St. Matthews. The West End "Feral
Youth" as the mall management of Oxmoor/Mall St. Matthews called them rioted
within two weeks of the bus expansion... they immediately banned all unescorted
youth on the weekends and summer. Tarc ridership dropped and those routes were
downscaled... St. Matthews Mall did not want them there as they didn't spend
money they just congregated. Most probably did not steal, it was like the
Dixie Manor Mall they just congregated in the parking lot at the McDonalds...
they had to have armed security at the Dixie Manor Mcdonalds... I remember the
day those kids rioted it was serious.

The Bus Routes on Tarc were scaled down on Dixie too... it used to go all the
way to valley village now it stops at Valley High school mostly for the
football players and after school programs. It also goes to the new SOuthwest
regional libary... sadly that stop isn't used very much.

We seriously lost a lot of employees because north Hurstborne was not totally
eliminated... but it made it very hard for the call centers to schedule shifts
that lasted all day long... especially at the UPS call centers, the apple call
center, and the cable company call centers, since they were staffed 24/7.
