Thanks to all who responded to my call for advice on the color codes.
Its often a problem with decommisioned modems that they cut the cords off
an otherwise perfectly usable device.  Its not hayes compatble however
being a dumb ex telecom modem.  Its only slow speed, and I plan to use it
with a twin floppy XT when my BBS goes offline due to crashes, lightning
spikes etc. The idea is to at least let my user group know that the system
is down but can still support messages etc.
