I replied too this I think from another BBS? Anyway I tried too
correct my message and I couldn't get back too the message. Anyway
You have too goto the Ports setup in the windows control program and
edit them from there. You have too select and IRQ and address away
from the one that your mouse is currently using too avoid conflicts
when your running software that involves the use of both the modem
and the mouse. For example if mouse is using com 1 port address 2E8
or similar? You'll need too adjust your port address on COM 4 so
that it will not conflict with the mouse. See your machines manual
for how-to tips on customizing The Com ports. I take it your
insterested in setting up an internal modem? In Windows adjust port 4
buad rate too the highest setting for the buad rate (19200) 8N1, Base
IO Port Address 02E8 IRQ 3. Flow Control Xon/Xoff.. These are the
current settings that I am using with my modem and it Works GREAT! No
errors whats-so-Ever! I tried too answer this through another echo
but I couldn't get back too correct my mistakes in the last message.
So if you receive 2 messages with the same subject matter, that's why..
Hope this helps you? Let me know okay? I posted this Earlier on the BBS
and My Mail reader messed up and saved this too text rather then send it
Let me know if you recieved this, okay?
