Further to my last message to you. I found the file you were talking about!

(N-SMM34.INF). Hadn't realised it was in the Zip of Netcomm's updated

drivers until I did a reinstall. I have since resolved the Autoanswer prob.

via Sunny Leung's response i.e. look for the RESET in the Registry. The

problem was that RESET was set to AT&F (factory defaults)! Changed it to

ATZ and all is well. Silly Netcomm. I take your point though in editing the

.INF file and know doubt it would work as those settings are installed in

the Registry.
