I was taking extra iron in the hospital (along with
fibrocon for the side-effect of iron) but the doctor
told me I didn't need to continue taking it at home.
(Which is a good thing because I don't have money
right now for it since I had to refill my pain meds).
My energy level is going up, thankfully, so hopefully
I'll soon be back to the energy level that I had
before. I still have pain, mostly at night and when I
overdo it in the activity department, but that too is
getting less as time goes on.
I see my GYN who did the surgery for a follow up on
Monday. I think everything is okay, but he will be
able to tell me for sure. I know I don't panic as much
with abdominal pain now that I've been out of the
hospital for a couple of weeks. But stress in the
emotional area has been difficult for other reasons.
I got a cortosone shot in my wrist today that has
helped the tendonitis that was resisting getting
better while wearing the brace. Hopefully that will
solve the problem. I know after he put the deadening
stuff in the spot for the cortasone (to make sure
that was the right spot) it stopped the pain. I'm
glad he had more luck with that than with drawing
my blood for the protime.,..which took him 3 tries
today). There was no way I could stop using my
right hand at all. I couldn't sit and do nothing at
all. All my crafts that keep me sane require me to
use my hands. I may skip from one to another, but I
still need my hands. :-) Thankfully I could sort
buttons for a while which gave me a little rest! I'm
waiting to be able to buy some more buttons, bulk.
Eventually I have some envelopes to make gift bags
out of and some brown paper sacks my mom gave me to
do the same. It's nice...she provides these supplies
and I get to keep half for doing the work. :-) I
have lots of sponges so I plan on experimenting with
using those rather than my rubber stamps.
Anyway, I appreciate all the support and encouragement
that I get from people like you. :-)
 Blessings,
 Wendy
