Hey Benny!

 BP> python on android ?

According to google, a few years ago python was second only to java for creating apps for android. It was more popular than google go, which one would think would be first. Also clang/clang++ which I have working on a tablet and used it to compile binkd for android running in a termux shell, which you recommended to me for running mc on an android based smart device. As far as I am concerned termux is the best app I have seen thus far for smart devices given the native bash enviroment it offers. I did post some msgs from it not that long ago but haven't fired it up since. I am not a fan of smart devices and only have one for testing ... such as binkd for android. If the tablet still works I'll fire off a msg to you from it to this echo.

BP> feel free to se my gopher server

I just did for a second time. I like the ansi cows although moose would be better especially the extra-special mythical M¨¨se. Anyhow lynx is the only browser I have that is gopher capable out of the box. Both firefox and seamonkey require some sort of plugin which I am not going to bother with. I dislike browsers and browsing, especially using gui ones. 99% of my browsing is done using links but lynx is okay.

 BP> oh wifi 6 ? :)

Yeah right. Still using 2.4GHz as it gives the best coverage (range). We're getting a few lower end N connections but most concerned are getting sub 54G speeds. To do better will require illegal hookups ... or a broadcasting license and a few million dollars for new hardware.

Life is good,
Maurice
