   If one is interested in Windows programming, then there is
   also the Visual C++ Programming Starter Kit.
   It comes with the complete commercial version of VC++ 4.0,
   as well as VC++1.52 for Win3.1 users.
   It also includes CD versions of "Teach Yourself Visual C++ in
   21 Days" and "Essential Visual C++ 4" in both electronic and
   paper versions. The whole thing sells for around $40.
