The work directory is usually the directory you're in (\qmpro or
\qmpro\olx). The work file is normally cleared out when you complete
the program, and exit.

OK, you sent a file...QMP had to translate the file to a binary Octal
file, before it transmitted it. Could've been in your work but probably
it was their fax that messed up. Without knowing anything about their
set-up, I can't comment.
