I guess I saw him in the early 70's at Cobo Hall in Detroit .. a room not 
well known for it's acoustics...the same place I saw Hendrix when he was 
still had The Experience band ... both shows were just excellent, you could 
hear everything, although I must admit, that the Hendrix show was probably 
the all time best show I have ever seen.  I had only been doing live sound 
for about a year or two at the time I saw Hendrix.  What I wouldn't have 
given to do a show with that band.....
