 Oh ye of little faith.  I can store several banks of high quality
 samples and access them from either a PC sequencer or trigger them
 from an external sequencer.  I can manipulate the samples in a huge
 variety of ways and add individually tailored reverb,  chorus,
 panning etc. in my final mix.
 What's your problem?
