Given how much I've been making from MacroAid lately, you aren't
going to be taking any business away from me whatever you say about
xxencoding.
Personally, I don't particularly appreciate seeing unreadable
messages in my downloaded mail. If there is a macro, I like to be able to
read it and decided whether I want to go through the work of extracting it
from the email message and converting it to macro format. I often learn
things from seeing macro code in email
messages, learn it quickly, and benefit without ever converting the message
to macro format. Of course, it has been so long since I've done anything
with 5.1/DOS macros that, from my standpoint, this is mainly of theoretical
interest.
