JP>JA> Got a turkey two weekends ago and as I went to pick it up off
JP>JA> the ground my barrel went muzzle first into the cornfield and
JP>JA> plugged about 1.5" deep. I, of course, unloaded first and then
JP>JA> cleaned the mud out with a stick. I then dropped some line
JP>JA> through the barrel and tied an oversise piece of cut cloth at
JP>JA> the brrech end. I then pulled it through to the muzzle and the
JP>JA> barrel came out "clean as a whistle". AAMOF, it shined so nice,
JP>JA> my neighbor decided to "clean" his too.
JP>I regularly carry a roll of tape to cover the muzzle during snow season.
JP>Saves a lot of "stick cleaning." No need to worry about pressure.
Condoms work well for this, too -- we used them in Vietnam until someone
came up with the current shoot-it-off plastic muzzle cap.
