Low profile focusers are easier to baffle than >focusers >with long fixed length tubes. Good point. However, if the low profile focuser is in a low profile position...then you can't put baffle disks/apertures very far below the focuser, or the baffles will be in the light path of the main mirror. That is why you often see low profile focuser setups on large truss dobs...where the baffle disk opposite the secondary mirror is very large...which makes for quite a 'sail' when the wind picks up. If wind is not a factor to you, then don't worry. But if wind is a factor...move your focuser position up an inch or two...and you can use a baffle arrangement that presents a smaller wind profile.
