You put it front of a series of courts & if they are persuaded then the state....

But they have to be pursuaded (by the look of the timeline quoted in
another post on this thread).

If there is noone there then when is a body simply a body ie. a shell?

Heck if there's "noone there" then a living body can have parts
removed which can then go into other people (legally).
