I've just recently purchased a X-link 28.8K fax/modem but I'm having some
¨difficulty with it.

Firsly only 1 bbs will let me connect at 28800 other board have connected
me ¨at 21600. More importantly, on some bbs' the modem will just seem to
freeze ¨and after a little while drop carrier.

Would this be something wrong with my init string which is :-

AT&F2&C1&D2L1S0=0S11=50^M

BTW the modem is an internal one if this makes any difference.
