To test for glass, take a razor blade or craft knife / boxcutter and
carefully scrape the ground edge of the lens where it meets the frame. If
nothing comes off, it's glass. If you get shavings, it's plastic.
If the lenses are plain glass and not coated with an anti-reflective
coating (as used on camera lenses, binoculars etc) then a new (sharp,
un-nicked) razor blade or scalpel / craft knife blade will scrape the glue
off. If it's on the concave side (nearest the eye), you may need a curved
blade (craft knife or scalpel).
But what I really want to know is... they were your driving glasses and you
fell asleep wearing them. Were you driving at the time?
