I loved "Just Another Band from L.A." which was recorded live somewhere
where the groupies want Flo and Eddie to sing thier hit tune "with a
bullet" and the punchline is it is Happy Together from when they were
with the Turtles.
 In this paricular venue, which is about to reopen again after much work
getting it earthquake proofed (if such a thing is possible, at least it
can take the subs from some of these touring shows!) called Municipal
Auditorium. I was in the REALLY cheap seats on that show, but shouldn't
have been that 2% that Timothy was talking about, but probably in the
best of the bottom 10% of the seats and this was around 1981.
 I've always enjoyed Frank's work, not only the off the wall lyrics and
themes, but the brilliant musicianship and compositional skills that he
had.
 When the Municipal Auditorium opens again, I hope that they've done
something with the acoustics, which was some of the worst I've seen in
that kind of venue.
